LNG Gasification Equipment Requirements

The process characteristics of the LNG terminal are "low temperature storage, normal temperature use". The design temperature of the storage tank is negtive 196 degrees Celsius (the boiling point of LNG at room temperature is negtive 162 degrees Celsius), and the temperature of the outbound natural gas is required to be not less than 10 degrees Celsius.

The thermal insulation performance of the cryogenic tank and liquid pump is better, and the cold protection performance of the valve and pipe fittings is better.

The equipment, pipelines, instruments, valves and accessories in the cryogenic area of the LNG station have good operating performance under low-temperature working conditions, and have good mechanical strength, sealing and corrosion resistance.

Because the cryogenic liquid pump startup process depends on the frequency converter to continuously increase the speed to increase the power flow and provide high output pressure, the cryogenic liquid pump requires increasing the frequency and expanding the power to be fast, usually within a few seconds to ten seconds to meet the requirements, and the cold insulation performance is better.

The gasification equipment is required to be earthquake resistant, typhoon resistant and meet the design requirements under ordinary climate conditions to achieve a larger gasification flow.

The manufacturing and daily operation management of low-temperature storage tanks and filters has been incorporated into the specifications for the manufacture, acceptance and supervision of pressure vessels; Gasifier and low-temperature hydrocarbon pump in China are not regulated by relevant regulations, the implementation of the relevant industry standards in the United States in the manufacturing process, welding on the pressure vessel body, modification, maintenance or moving the position of the pressure vessel, are declared to the pressure vessel inspection unit.
